Cherry Glamping in Elgin: Henry and Izabel
On our very first call with Henry and Izabel we could see the high school love that never went away. That was like watching a rom-com in real life. Their love was an anchor and harbor at the same time for everyone that was friends with them. After capturing their engagement and their wedding it was one of the most emotional, fun, and loving weddings we have ever attended. We were very excited as they had a very specific vision for their wedding film drawing inspiration from The Lumineers Brightside music video, and interviewing guests attending the wedding, we knew we found our people!
They had their wedding at Cherry Glamping in Elgin. This is a blank canvas venue, where the possibilities of multiple locations for both your ceremony and reception either at the dam, in the vineyards, or in the forest. Perfect for boho and earthy weddings.
Ehl-kah Creative was their wedding planner for the day and Henry said "Couldn't have done this on our own", which helped them be more present with their friends and family. Something we highly suggest if planning feels very overwhelming or you don't know where to start.
Their ceremony took place at the camping site right at the top, with warm rustic, earthy, and boho colors decorated by Creative Nook. It was better than any Pinterest board theme with guests wearing earthy colors which complimented all the autumn colors.
After their ceremony guest were ushered to the reception area down below at the dam, while we stayed behind at the big tree with their bridal party. It was a very fun time doing some out-of-the-box bridal shots by having a dance-off. The couple shoot continued with the two of them being the amazing in love couple they are all documented without posing.
Henry and Izabel became more than just our couple, they are now one of our best friends going on wine trips, Stranger Things quiz nights and just a good time.
